
Chrome was designed for people who live on the web. People searching for information, checking email, shopping or just being incognito!!!!!! Chrome wanted to re-think what operating systems should be. Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that was initially be targeted at netbooks.
3% is a large number of points in the real world but a relatively small fraction when it comes to internet explorer. It will be a long time before any browser to come anywhere near IE % usage, but the competition creates a better web experience for all users!
Justin, we keep hearing more and more about Chrome and I'm sure as time passes their customer base will continue to increase. I recently read an article about IE and they are planning on releasing another version within a couple of years.
ReplyDeleteI have actually tried Google Chrome and it has not disappoint me so far. It is actually fast comparing to other browsers, I think. Interestingly enough, one thing I did not like about Google Chrome is their design. I think I'm just not used to it! So far, looks like Firefox is still on top of their game.
ReplyDeleteAs the new browser war begins its first opening shots i see Chrome as the winner in the end. Though i currently use firefox and really have no urge to switch, mainly because i dont want to have to find comparable addons in chrome, i think google's name overall will carry the browser as more people learn that they have choices.
