Everyone has been a part of group project where the collaboration was difficult due to the lack of centralization of the files. I want to offer you a great collaboration option that has been recently implemented by Eastern Michigan.
When logging in to your Eaglemail account you will notice a splash screen with the words Collaboration suite. The hidden gem in Eaglemail, which was developed by Zimbra (a Yahoo Company), is that you are able to quickly share your briefcase with other Eaglemail users.

To create a Collaboration share with your group members, follow the steps below:
1. Log into your Eaglemail account https://mail.emich.edu/
2. Click on the header labeled Briefcase
3. On the left hand side you are able to share your whole briefcase or you can create a new folder and only share that particular folder
4. Right Click on the folder and click Share Folder
5. Keep the default setting for sharing with internal users and groups
6. Input your group members emich email address in the Email field
7. Select a role you want to grant to the user
8. Click OK
Your group members will receive an email with the subject "Share Created". Upon opening the email by your group member, they will have an option at the top of the email to Accept the invitation.
Once the group member clicks accept they will then be prompted to accept the share. To access the new shared folder and collaborate with other group members, the group member will need to go to their briefcase and find the shared folder on the left hand side.
