Well since already someone already blogged about “mashups” and how to implement youtube video in your blog post, I am kind of limited in what to write. That is why I took the liberty to find some useful tips before starting this course.
First as we all know we need the book, and the good news about it is that it is really cheap. I searched through the various websites to buy it and found out that one of the cheapest place is amazon. It seems that it runs for $12, which is great because all of my other books coast over a $100 each.
Some of you may find that interesting, but I kind of like one tutorial website, that helped me through my associate’s degree in software engineering. They have information on every web developing language that there is, so it is really cool. They have tutorials on AJAX as well, so I am sure some of you may find that helpful. Youtube is loaded with tutorials for AJAX as well.

ReplyDeleteI almost never buy a book from the local bookstores anymore. Amazon seems to be the best place to get any of my school books. I do have to say thank you to the teacher for choosing a book that was not too costly, I was expecting to pay over $100 for this class.
I like the w3school tutorials so much, I actually recommend them to students in my IS 247 class. It is a great, free, educational tool.
ReplyDeleteNice work finding the text book online! I agree with Joshua in that local stores charge way too much and buying books online is a great idea. I use another site to help find cheap text books. It is http://www.gettextbooks.com/ and does a comparison of different websites and gives you the cheapest price it can find. It functions similarly to http://kayak.com where you can purchase cheap airline tickets. Both sites are great and I highly recommend them!
